GE Case Study
During 2006 Metropolis Entertainment undertook an ongoing project for GE to support its internal and external communications programmes leading up to and past its participation as an Olympic partner at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics.
The project has seen Metropolis Entertainment design and project manage the external theming of a mobile Morphis simulator and facilitating a European tour covering ten European countries.
During September 2006 the unit operated at the World Cardiology Convention in Barcelona on behalf of GE Healthcare and made 4 channels of national TV in Spain.
The project involved the production of four bespoke simulation ride films, including a journey through the human cardiovascular system for GE Healthcare and a journey through a jet engine for GE Transportation Systems. The simulator operated in the Olympic Village in Torino for the duration of the Winter Olympics.
