Metropolis Entertainment has launched an entirely new genre in experiential films.  Working in partnership with Simworx, Metropolis has produced a spectacular aerial film featuring the breath-taking beauty and diversity of Vietnam.

The film, which was specially shot at multiple locations in Vietnam in ultra-high definition, will be used in a Simworx ‘Flying Theatre’ to be installed at Bao Son Paradise Park in Hanoi. Visitors to the theatre will see the film projected onto a giant, spherical screen which will be complemented by dramatic suspended motion to create a truly immersive environment.

The majority of the film sequences were directed by Metropolis and shot using state-of-the-art drone mounted cameras. In post-production at Flock London the source material was enhanced with photo-realistic animation and effects. A specially composed music track with atmospheric audio effects compliments the visuals and is presented to the audience via ten channels of surround sound.

Metropolis’ executive producer, Ghislaine Walls said the new film here, “represents a new genre in experiential film making.  We are currently contemplating similar projects in Norway, the Middle East and other Asian locations.”

Metropolis is a world leader in experiential film production and in recent years has produced immersive films with the Red Arrows and RAF Typhoon Force as well as the Bloodhound world record breaking car and the Men’s World Cup Downhill.

Metropolis is a full service production company with other specialities in corporate and commercials productions for both broadcast and non-broadcast clients.
